Istanbul Cappadocia Pamukkale and Ephesus Tour Itinerary

After landing at Istanbul's New Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökcen Airport (SAW), our staff will be ready to greet you at the international exit, displaying a sign bearing your name. Following this, you'll be transported to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy.

Alternatively, you have the option to join to Bosphorus Dinner Cruise tour which takes place between 19:30 and 24:00.

Following your breakfast at approximately 8:30 am, our team will pick you up from your hotel for your full-day Byzantine & Ottoman Relics tour. On this day, we will be visiting Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Grand Bazaar, and lastly Topkapi Palace.

Following our visit to Grand Bazaar, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.

Once the tour concludes, we'll arrange your transfer back to your hotel.

You'll be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and transported to the Istanbul airport for a flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir. The flight lasts for 1-hour 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Kayseri or Nevsehir airport, you'll be greeted and taken to Cappadocia. Once there, your expert tour guide will meet you to begin a comprehensive North Cappadocia tour.

The tour kicks off with an exploration of the distinctive fairy chimneys in Devrent Valley. Following that, a visit to the Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) reveals its intriguing mushroom-shaped rock formations. The itinerary then directs you to Avanos, a city of significance. After a satisfying lunch, the next stop is the Zelve Open Air Museum, where intricately carved caves and ancient churches offer insights into the region's monastic heritage.

As the day tour winds down, you'll have the opportunity to explore the natural citadels of Uchisar before making your way back to your Cappadocia hotel. 

Our tour concludes around 17:00 and then you will be taken to your hotel for check-in.

You also have the option to join Turkish Night Show with dinner which takes place between 20:00 - 23:00.

On this day, you have the option to take a hot air balloon ride early in the morning offering captivating panoramic vistas of the valleys from the sky. Please note that this activity involves an extra charge.

Following breakfast at your hotel around 9:30 am, you'll be picked up and greeted by your tour guide to start your full-day South Cappadocia tour. Your guide will inform you with an overview of the day's schedule. Your trip begins with a visit to the Red Valley, granting you the chance to discover renowned rock-carved churches and embark on an approximately 5 km hike through the Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi).

Continuing on, you'll venture to Cavusin Village, celebrated for its historic houses and churches linked to Christian clergy. After visiting Cavusin Village, we will take a break for lunch and make our way to the Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi). In the afternoon, we will visit either the Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City, which were once inhabited by early Christians.

Once our South Cappadocia tour ends, you'll be transported to either Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your late evening flight to Izmir. Upon arrival in Izmir, we will meet again and transfer you to your hotel in Kusadasi.

After having breakfast around 7:30 am, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Kusadasi. We'll then head to the meeting point in Selcuk, where the entire group will gather. The Pamukkale tour will kick off with a departure from Selcuk at 8:30 am, and the journey to Pamukkale will take around 3 hours. About halfway there, after 1.5 hours, we'll make a 10-minute stop for your personal needs.

Upon reaching Pamukkale at around 11:45 am, we will have lunch at a local restaurant. Following the meal, around 1:00 pm, your guided tour of the Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour will begin, guided by a professional licensed tour guide.

In Pamukkale, you'll get to witness the stunning Cotton Cliffs, a natural wonder formed by deposits of calcareous salts. Additionally, you'll explore the ancient ruins of Hierapolis, including its basilica, theater, and Roman Baths.

After this, there will be some free time for you to explore the area on your own. Optionally, you can choose to swim in the Pamukkale antique pools during this time, at additional cost. The tour guide will provide specific details about the meeting point and time for regrouping.

The tour will conclude at around 4:00 pm and we will drive you back to your hotel in Kusadasi. Arrival at your hotel around 7:00 pm.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel around 8:30 am, your day will kick off with a pickup by your tour guide, marking the start of your full-day Ephesus tour. Your journey will revolve around exploring the fascinating ruins of Ephesus, an ancient Greek city that held immense significance during its time. You'll get to see noteworthy sites such as the Temple of Hadrian, the Great Theater, and the Trajan Fountain.

After having lunch, our next destination will be the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be where she spent her final years. Our route will take us past the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once counted among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Our exploration continues with a visit to the Isa Bey Mosque.

Next, we'll head to the charming Sirince Village, an old Greek settlement celebrated for its picturesque charm and wine culture. During your one-hour free time here, you can independently explore the area's culinary offerings and indulge in wine tasting and local produce. The village is also home to several quaint traditional shops.

As the tour concludes, we'll arrange your transfer to Izmir airport for your return flight to Istanbul, scheduled for the late evening between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm. The flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
