5-Day Cappadocia Pamukkale and Antalya Tour from Istanbul

As an option, you can take a hot air balloon ride early in the morning. This activity is included with an extra cost.

Following breakfast at approximately 9:30 am, you'll meet your tour guide for an exciting day ahead. Your guide will provide you with an overview of the day's plans. The adventure starts with a trip to the Red Valley, where you'll have the chance to explore remarkable rock-cut churches and take a roughly 5 km hike through the picturesque Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi).

Afterwards, we'll head to Cavusin Village, known for its historic houses and churches of Christian Clergymen. Around noon, a well-deserved lunch break is scheduled. Once lunch is done, our next stop is the Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi).

In the afternoon, you'll have the chance to visit either the Kaymakli Underground City or the Ozkonak Underground City, where early Christians found refuge. This marks the end of your engaging full-day tour.

We'll arrange your flight back to Denizli which will take place around 2:00 am. Upon arrival to Denizli, you will be met by our team at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The flight will last around 1 hour.

Due to intense hiking, it is highly advised for our travelers to wear comfortable shoes during the trip.

Following a breakfast at your hotel around 10:30 am, our team will pick you up for a guided exploration of the Pamukkale and Hierapolis region. Your journey begins with a visit to Karahayit, where you'll witness the captivating Red Spring Waters. Afterward, we'll proceed to Pamukkale, where you'll immerse yourself in the ancient wonders of Hierapolis.

Hierapolis boasts a wealth of historical treasures, including the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater, and Antique Pool. You'll also have the opportunity to capture breathtaking photographs from the most picturesque spots in Pamukkale.

At approximately 12:30 pm, you will be given of about 1 hour free time to discover the natural beauty of Pamukkale. You may also choose to swim in the Antique Pool at an additional cost during this break.

At 1:30 pm, your guide will lead you to the Pamukkale Travertines, also known as the "Cotton Castle" due to its gleaming white terraces formed by the flow of mineral-rich thermal waters. You'll have the unique opportunity to wander barefoot through the Pamukkale travertines, experiencing their ethereal beauty up close.

Around 2:30 pm, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we'll go to Onyx Factor on a brief 30-minute visit, offering a glimpse into the artistry of this local craft.

Our Pamukkale & Hierapolis tour will finish at 4:00 pm, we'll then arrange for your transfer to the Pamukkale main bus station. From there, you will take a bus ride to Antalya which will take around 5-hours with 1 break for your personal needs. Upon your arrival in Antalya, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00 am, we'll pick you up and start the tour. Our first stop is Perge, an ancient city dating back to 1500 BC, once among Pamphylia's largest cities.

Next, we'll visit the well-preserved Aspendos Ancient Theatre, built in the 2nd century A.D., with a seating capacity of 15,000, still used for festivals and concerts.

Lunch will be at a riverside restaurant, followed by a visit to Side, a classical ancient city famous for its Roman ruins, including a theater, Roman Baths, and the Temple of Apollo. Enjoy an hour of free time by the sea in Side.

On the way back, we'll make a 1-hour stop at the scenic Manavgat Waterfall before returning to Antalya. We'll then transfer you back to your hotel, completing your day of exploration.

After having breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel in Antalya. We'll then pick you up and take you to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul.
