4-Day Ephesus and Pamukkale Tour from Istanbul by Bus

Upon arriving to the Selcuk bus station, you'll be greeted and transferred to our local office. Some leisure time will be available before the tour begins. We will then transport you to the tour starting location for Ephesus tour.

Your first stop will be the Temple of Artemis, a former member of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Following that, a visit to the renowned Greco-Roman City of Ephesus, an exceptionally well-preserved historical site. After visiting this site, we will have a lunch break.

We will then venture to the House of the Virgin Mary, a place of significance for both Christians and Muslims, believed to be her final abode. Later, we will visit the Isabey Mosque. Followed by a journey to the charming Sirince Village, an ancient Greek settlement famed for its picturesque charm and wine craftsmanship. During this time, you'll have approximately an hour to independently explore the local culinary offerings and wines, along with visits to traditional village shops.

At the end of our Ephesus tour, you will be transported to your hotel in Kusadasi for check-in.

Overnight at hotel

After breakfast at the hotel around 7:30 am, you will be picked up and transferred to the tour meeting point. Our trip will approximately begin at 8:30 am and take about 3 hours of drive from Selcuk. Along the way, there'll be a quick 10-minute break for your personal needs.

Upon arrival at 11:45 am, we will first have lunch. At about 1:00 pm, your guided Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour will begin. Pamukkale's famous Cotton Cliffs, which are really unique formations made by natural deposits, will be one of the highlights. You'll also get to explore the ancient ruins of Hierapolis City, with its old buildings and structures.

Once the guided tour is finished, you'll have some time to explore the area on your own. If you're interested, you can pay extra to swim in the historic Pamukkale pools. The guide will tell you where and when to meet up again. The entire tour will approximately finish at around 4:00 pm.

After that, you'll begin an overnight trip to Istanbul on a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. The bus will leave the station around 9:00 pm. The journey is expected to take around 10 hours in total. There will be three stops along the way for you to take care of your personal needs.

Overnight bus to Istanbul

Your bus will arrive to the main bus station in Istanbul between 7:30 - 11:00 am depending on the traffic. Upon arrival, you will have to arrange your own transportation from the bus station. Our service concludes here.
