Today, Bursa is Turkey’s 4th largest city with a significant portion of green lands remaining to represent it’s unique natural beauty.

Built in 1424, the mosque is part of a larger religious complex located on the eastern side of the city, which includes several tombs, a theological school or “medrese”, kitchens, and baths. The mosque gets it’s name from the green tiles that adorn it’s walls, which were handcrafted in the nearby city of Iznik, famous for its tile-making tradition.
- Yeşil Turbe (Green Mausoleum) – Nearby, you will find here the tomb of the fifth Ottoman Sultan Mehmet Celebi and those of his children. The exterior of the mausoleum is covered with green – blue tiles that lave given its name.
- Silk House – Bursa is located on the route of historical Silk Road. Bursa has been influential on the world trade as an important trades centre. They have everything from pashmina to all kinds of silk products and souvenirs which can all be purchased.
